Crafty Christmas

Christmas time is the perfect opportunity to get festive and do some super fun crafts to use as decor, gifts, and so much more! We've put together a list of crafts to make this holiday merry, bright, and full of fun!

Garland

Garland is one of my favorite pieces of Christmas decor because it's so colorful and has great movement. Making fringe garland is super easy and you can customize the colors and sizes depending on where you plan to use it. Check out a step by step tutorial here.

Materials: Tissue paper, scissors, glue gun, cord

Vintage Candles

Candles are great for setting the mood of the season with scents like evergreen and cinnamon spice. Fill your home with these candles and give them as gifts to spread the christmas spirit. A great DIY for candle making is here. In this tutorial you use unique vintage tins as the candle holders which is completely fantastic.

Materials: Vintage tins, candle wax from new or old candles (full list in link above)

Gift Wrap

Picking the perfect gift wrap for your gift is always loads of fun and it's even better when you can customize it exactly the way you want it. There are several ways to make personalized gift wrap, you can use stamps, paint, colored paper, stickers, and more. There's no one right way to do this to be adventurous and really show your creativity and style. Get colorful, get crazy, and don't be afraid to go all out!

Materials: Paper, pens, paint, stencils, etc.

Ornaments

Just like the gift wrap there are many different techniques and styles to choose for diy ornaments depending on your theme or preference. I'm a big fan of marble ornaments because they're easy and you can choose any color you like. All you need is a plain white set of ornaments in whatever shape you'd like, some paint or nail polish, and 5 minutes of free time.

Materials: White or plain ornaments, paint or nail polish colors of your choosing

Soap Rocks

A soap rock is a great gift or addition to your bathroom for holiday guests. It may take a bit more time and require a shopping trip for materials but it is well worth it to impress your friends and family! Check out a step by step tutorial here.

Materials: Soap base, soap dyes, powder eye shadow, etc. (full list in link above)

Ring Dish

This a cute gift idea for any of your friends or family, and it doesn't have to be just for rings. This little dish can be used for keys, change, and many other trinkets in need of a home. Check out how you can make one here!

Materials: Small bowl, polymer clay, paint

Photo Display

Grab your favorite photo or photos of you and a loved one to use for this super quaint and sweet photo display. It's a great gift because you can add multiple photos to flip through like an album and feature different ones at different times. View the tutorial here.

Materials: Air dry clay, ply wood, book rings, etc. (full list in link above)
